A bizarre AI clip has turned a real presidential security operation into something resembling a Hollywood spy thriller. The video imagines Donald Trump escaping an Iranian assassination threat with dramatic music, military dialogue and a plane swap that looks far more cinematic than the real-world maneuver.

Laura Loomer posted the AI-generated video on X while defending Donald Trump after reporting detailed his secret aircraft transfer during his Turkey trip for the NATO summit. The 33-year-old Trump supporter presented the fictional footage as “Exclusive video footage” of Trump switching planes to evade an Iranian plot.
The clip borrows heavily from action-movie imagery. Trump appears alongside journalists boarding the Qatari-donated Air Force One while the Mission: Impossible theme plays. The AI version then sends him toward another aircraft, complete with changing clothing, disappearing hats and scripted military chatter. Trump’s digital double declares, “Let’s move, quick and quiet,” before later celebrating that they had fooled the “fake news” media.
The actual operation looked very different. According to The Washington Post’s reporting, journalists did not board the $400 million Qatari aircraft as Loomer’s video suggests. Instead, Trump initially appeared aboard the older Air Force One before staff secretly moved him to a smaller Air Force C-32A (via The Daily Beast).
Airport footage showed a catering truck positioned against the older jet, allowing Trump to leave away from the press. The older aircraft then continued as a decoy, carrying journalists and White House officials. Staff had also instructed reporters to shut their window shades, helping conceal Trump’s movements.
Trump had openly acknowledged the security concerns surrounding the trip. When journalists questioned the window-shade order, he warned that they were on a “dangerous flight” because of threats from Iran. He also said, “The life of a president is very dangerous,” and identified himself as “number one on the kill list for Iran.”
