Donald Trump’s Short Sleeves Exposed Bruising Not Usually Seen in Public

Donald Trump offered an unusually clear look at his arm bruise while spending part of the weekend on the golf course. The appearance drew attention because bruising previously noticed on his hands was also now visible across his exposed forearms. This added another wrinkle to the ongoing scrutiny surrounding the president’s health.

Donald Trump spotted with new arm bruise during golf outing

Donald Trump attended the LIV Golf New York tournament Saturday at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey. A half-sleeved polo shirt left his forearms uncovered as he rode around the course in a golf cart. Photographs showed several dark marks of different sizes along with what appeared to be minor scrapes on his arm (via The Daily Beast).

The latest images also showed Trump wearing adhesive bandages on two fingers of his right hand. His hands have attracted attention before, particularly after recurring discoloration appeared on his right hand. Last year, press secretary Karoline Leavitt offered a simple explanation during an interview with The Daily Beast, pointing to the president’s unusually high number of handshakes.“President Trump is a man of the people and he meets more Americans and shakes their hands on a daily basis than any other President in history,” she said.

That explanation became less straightforward when similar marks appeared on Trump’s other hand. The preisdent later attributed the bruising to his daily aspirin use, saying the medication can thin blood. He has also disclosed a diagnosis of chronic venous insufficiency, a condition involving blood-flow problems in the veins, which doctors diagnosed last July.

The bruising has become part of a broader conversation about Trump’s physical condition. Reports have also highlighted swollen limbs, apparent tiredness, speech changes and moments that critics interpreted as confusion or emotional volatility. Still, the White House has repeatedly rejected concerns about his health.

White House spokesperson Davis Ingle defended Trump in April, describing him as “the sharpest, most accessible, and energetic president in American history.” The president himself has also repeatedly pointed to his performance on cognitive screening exams as evidence of his mental fitness.
