Hugh Jackman talks about peeing his pants
Hugh Jackman recalled peeing his pants before an audience of 1,500 people on stage during his recent appearance on The Howard Stern Show. Jackman spoke about one of his earliest acting roles of playing Gaston in Beauty and the Beast. Stern asked, “When you did that role, didn’t you piss your pants too on stage?”
The Song Sung Blue star laughed and replied, “Good morning, everybody.” He proceeded to explain, “So I was getting a lot of headaches, and I went to a naturopath. And the guy said, ‘You’re dehydrated. You’ve gotta drink a lot of water. Drink it before 5 o’clock. Like 2 litres of water.’”
Furthermore, Jackman said, “So that first day, I drank two gallons. And the first song I sing… it was so hard to get through. I had to pick her up and drag her around, and sing. And, as I picked Belle up, a little bit of piss came out. And I’m wearing red tights.”
Continuing with his narration, the Logan star recalled, “Then I thought, ‘Uh-oh.’ And I remember, Belle’s over my shoulder, and she’s like, ‘What’s going on?’ Cause I had stopped singing. I was just marching around. And then, at the end of the song, I had a choice…I either sing it and piss my pants, or I don’t sing it and humiliate myself. So, I sang it, and it was just going. I immediately, instead of taking my bow, like at the applause, I turned upstage. I just jumped around and looked down, and there was nothing.”
Jackman later revealed that his boots were filled with piss, and somehow, he managed to get away with it. However, he confessed, “As I walk offstage, my dresser is in the wings, and all she is doing is looking at my crotch. I look down as I walk off, and it is completely wet. So in that three minutes after the song, it had seeped through.”
The X-Men star further admitted, “And you know, nothing can embarrass you after that,” before signing off.
