All 5 Seasons of TNT Sci-Fi TV Show Set Netflix Streaming Date

Falling Skies is making its way to Netflix, and all five seasons will soon be available for streaming. First released in 2011, the series became a favorite among sci-fi fans for its portrayal of humanity after a destructive alien attack. Its move to Netflix will give audiences renewed access to the show and introduce it to new viewers.

Falling Skies Seasons 1 to 5 begin streaming on Netflix in January 2026

Falling Skies is set to make a long-awaited streaming appearance on Netflix, with all five seasons arriving on January 1, 2026, according to What’s on Netflix. The acclaimed sci-fi drama, created by Robert Rodat, originally aired on TNT between 2011 and 2015 and quickly developed a loyal following for its high-stakes storytelling.

The series opens in the aftermath of a devastating extraterrestrial assault that has left most of civilization in ruin. With systems completely broken, the remaining survivors attempt to organize a defense effort. Among the survivors is Tom Mason, a Boston professor whose knowledge of military strategy becomes crucial once he joins the 2nd Massachusetts, a resistance group attempting to protect remaining civilians.

Following his wife’s death in the attack, Tom becomes determined to save his son, who is among the many teenagers abducted by the alien force. As the survivors push forward, they uncover increasingly complex truths about the invaders and their long-term objectives.

The series’ ensemble cast includes Moon Bloodgood as Anne Glass-Mason, Drew Roy as Hal Mason, Maxim Knight as Matt Mason, and Seychelle Gabriel as Lourdes Delgado, among others.

During its run, Falling Skies maintained a strong reputation within the genre. It currently holds a 79 percent Rotten Tomatoes score. It also received notable recognition during its broadcast run, earning two Primetime Emmy Award nominations and 14 Saturn Award nominations.

The series’ move to Netflix gives long-time viewers and new audiences the chance to watch the complete story in one place.
