X-Men MCU Casting Rumor Offers Fans Huge News as 3 More Join Reboot Movie

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is gearing up to conclude the Multiverse Saga while laying the groundwork for the franchise’s next chapter. As Marvel prepares to usher in a new era, several key roles in its upcoming 2028 X-Men movie has reportedly been cast.

Industry scooper @MyTimeToShineH shared the update on X, claiming that Marvel Studios has quietly attached three additional actors to the superhero team-up. The claim arrives just days after reports surfaced that Ben Wang is currently in talks to play Bobby Drake, better known as Iceman.

Marvel Studios has not issued an official response to the rumor, and no additional cast members have been formally announced beyond the initial lineup revealed at D23.

Who has been announced as part of the X-Men movie cast so far?

Several key roles have reportedly been cast for Marvel’s new take on the X-Men. While actors from the Fox-era films are set to reprise their roles in Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars, a new generation of actors will lead the franchise as it transitions into the MCU.

Sadie Sink appeared in Spider-Man: Brand New Day as Jean Grey and will reprise her role. Kit Connor has been cast as Cyclops/Scott Summers, Inde Navarrette will play Rogue, and Asa Germann will join the movie as Angel. Christopher Abbott will be the MCU’s version of Professor X. Samara Weaving will play Emma Frost, and Maya Boyd will assume the role of Storm.

Adam Driver has reportedly been cast as Mister Sinister, who will serve as the first major antagonist for Marvel’s merry mutants. Several key roles are still up for grabs, fueling online speculation about which actors could bring the remaining characters to life.

Beast, also known as Hank McCoy, is also rumored to appear in the movie, with Peter Claffey reportedly among the actors being considered for the role.

Fans are also anticipating casting announcements for major characters such as Magneto, Wolverine, Gambit, and Nightcrawler. Meanwhile, actors including Daniel Radcliffe and Jeremy Allen White have been linked to the project, though none of these reports have been officially confirmed.

Marvel’s X-Men movie is currently scheduled to hit theaters on May 5, 2028.
