Fresh Tomato Salsa

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1 4 oz can green chilies
  • 1/4 cup green onion, sliced
  • 3 Tbsp chopped cilantro
  • 2 Tblsp lime juice
  • 1-2 jalapeño pepper, seeded and chopped. If you prefer less heat use banana peppers instead
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper

Preparation: Combine all ingredients and mix well. If you like a less chunky salsa, put a cup of salsa in a blender until smooth and add to the rest of salsa.
