Watch: Facebook Founder Mark Zuckerberg Drenches Himself in Ice Water

Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg poured a bucket of ice water over his head as part of a campaign to raise awareness for Lou Gehrig's Disease.

The ALS Association has launched the Ice Bucket Challenge as a way of inspiring more people to make donations to the company, and raise awareness of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, often referred to as Lou Gehrig's Disease.

In the above video, Zuckerberg issues a challenge to Bill Gates, Sheryl Sandberg and Reed Hastings to also partake in the campaign, with the forfeit being that they each must donate $100 to the cause if they fail to accept (we're assuming that they'll all donate the money regardless of whether or not they drench themselves in ice water anyway).

The video sees the billionaire pouring the bucket of water over his head, before muttering "That was really cold."
Zuckerberg was challenged to take part in the campaign by New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, and accepted it with gusto. The video has already attracted over 200,000 likes on Facebook, so Zuckerberg has done a great job in raising awareness for ALS.
