Foot Locker, ASICS Shoes Declare ‘All Runners Welcome’

Foot Locker and ASICS, the Japanese athletic equipment company, recently unveiled a new national advertising campaign, “All Runners Welcome,” that celebrates runners of all abilities and identifies comical, unique running personalities.

Check out the commercial HERE and it’s highly likely if you’re a runner and maybe even if you’re not but you would like to be, you’ll probably see yourself in there somewhere.

The drawings, illustrated by ‘Where the Wild Things Are’ artist, Geoff McFedtridge, depict 25 humorous, yet often realistic archetypes that many runners can identify with like runners with a laser-like focus, runners who run to maintain their eating habits, and runners that sing out loud, amongst many others. Ultimately this entertaining campaign features the every day man, and embraces the “All Runners Welcome” mantra.
