The African buffalo or Cape Buffalo is the only member of the cattle and buffalo tribe that occurs naturally in Africa, but that’s not why we’re running a story on them today.
According to South African hunter turned conservationist Lindsay Hunt, the cape buffalo is responsible for killing more hunters in Africa than any other animal. They are known to “ambush hunters that have wounded or injured them,” but that’s not why we’re running a story on them today.
The cape buffalo has “four times the strength of an ox” and has been known to seek out and kill lion cubs as a form of “preventative punishment,” but that’s not why we’re running a story on them today.
So just why are we running a story on a mother Cape buffalo and her calf? Yup, you guessed it: Somebody took a video of the mom taking a nasty shit on her kid’s head when it came in for some good eating.
