You can run, but you can’t hide your porn stash, because a dog will come along and sniff all of it out in an instant. Well, at least this dog will.
The dog, aptly named URL, was trained by the Weber County Sheriff’s Office, and it is Utah’s first “porn dog.” That’s right — “porn dog.” The 16-month-old black Lab was actually trained by the same person who “played a key role in the arrest of ex-Subway pitchman, Jared Fogle,” according to their Facebook post.
This dog can sniff out everything from thumb drives to cell phones, as well as SIM cards, external hard drives, iPads, SD cards and tablets.
“Whether it’s child porn, terrorism intelligence, narcotics or financial crimes information, URL has the ability to find evidence hidden on basically any electronic memory,” the Facebook post states.
Utah State Sen. Todd Weiler introduced a bill that declared porn a “public health crisis,” and along with URL, the senator has said that he is drafting legislation that would require cell phone manufacturers to add porn-blocking filters right in their devices, which could only be removed if the user can verify they are 18 or older.
This is the same dude who has called smartphones “a vending machine for porn.” Weiler must be a riot at parties.
