During last week’s Hell on Wheels, Cullen Bohannon (Anson Mount) and Fong (A. Zhou) narrowly survived their ordeal in the mountain while attempting to move a locomotive to the other side via sled. But Cullen received an even bigger shock when he realized that Fong was actually a woman named Mei!
Because Cullen owed her his life, he agreed to keep Mei’s secret. But that apparently didn’t mean that he’ll let her work on the Central Pacific line. In this week’s exclusive preview from Hell on Wheels Season 5 episode 3, Tao (Tzi Ma) delivers an ultimatum to Cullen: allow his daughter to work or lose both of them!
Also on last week’s episode, The Swede (Christopher Heyerdahl) made himself very useful to Phineas (Josh Caras) as part of his latest long term plan. This week, The Swede’s plans for the Mormons continue to move forward with his unwitting ally while Cullen deals with a violent clash in Chinatown as the workers give in to rage and anger.
This is near the halfway point of Hell on Wheels’ seven episode run in 2015. The final season will conclude next summer with seven additional new episodes.
