The Michael Jordan Dunk Clip You’ve Never Seen

Idolizing him as a kid, Michael Jordan defined my childhood.

I thought I had nearly every basketball card, poster, book, even seen every youtube clip … until now.

USATODAY confirmed last year even they had overlooked this clip after it was uploaded years ago and that it is from a Nike exhibition game in 1985.

On August 25, 1985, Michael Jordan was preparing for his second season in the NBA by playing a Nike exhibition game in Trieste, Italy. In that game, he made one of most spectacular dunks. Chances are, you’ve never seen it until today.

So as it turns out, MJ shattered a backboard before it became a thing. Enjoy the Crocodile Dundee music.
