Pittsburgh Penguins Forward Pascal Dupuis Out For ‘At Least Six Months’

The Pittsburgh Penguins have stated on their website that their forward, Pascal Dupuis, will be out for at least six months due to a blood clot in his lungs. Blood thinners are being administered in an effort to stop the clot, which originated in his leg.

Any blood clot is a scary one (and this is his second one this year), so here’s hoping that the blood thinners help by dissipating the clot, otherwise Pascal’s health might be in even more jeopardy. Our thoughts and prayers go out to him, his family, and supporting medical staff as they work out the pulmonary embolism.
