The video, which was created due to the “#bendgate” controversy surrounding the supposed unintended flexibility of the device, has reportedly led to ComputerBild being blacklisted by Apple, with them being told they were receive no more Apple devices nor invitations to Apple events.

ComputerBild writes: “Instead of answering the questions about why the iPhone 6 Plus is so sensitive, a manager [of Apple’s German PR department] called COMPUTER BILD and told us, that COMPUTER BILD will not get any testing devices and no invites to official events any more.”

ComputerBild has now penned an open letter to Apple CEO Tim Cook, discussing their “shock” in regards to Apple’s perceived intimidation tactics. Apple has yet to respond to the allegation, and it has not yet been revealed whether more publications are facing the wrath of the company for their coverage of “#bendgate.”

If ComputerBild’s claims are true, then this is thoroughly unprofessional on Apple’s behalf and will stand to throw the company in a negative light. We’ll update this story when we receive more information.
