Before you see the new American reboot of Godzilla why not take a look at what might have been? Our sister site Shock Till You Drop has revealed new concept art from the pages of Godzilla: The Art of Destruction, showing off various designs considered for the title monster before director Gareth Edwards decided on the final look you’ll see in the film. As is common for concept art, the ideas range from pretty wild, to extremely grounded, to incredibly faithful to the classic Japanese movies that inspired the new American movie. Edwards includes commentary about many of these designs in the new book about the making of the film.
