A new web series “LARPs: The Series,” which was made in Montreal, is set to begin on March 10th – the show revolves around live action role playing (hence the acronym LARP).
According to a CBC News’ article, “LARPs: The Series” was created by longtime friends Julian Stamboulieh, Benjamin Warner and Jon Verrall. “It’s very similar to how we used to play as children, but there are sets of rules that are kind of adjudicated throughout. It’s almost like an old Dungeons & Dragons game, but acted out in character and it takes the immersion one step higher,” said Stamboulieh. Â
