Way back in 2006 Sacha Baron Cohen released the hilarious Borat and had audiences everywhere laughing, but it seems like Kazakhstan, where Borat is from in the film, is still not a fan of his character. Let us explain.

Six tourists were recently arrested in Kazakhstan for heading out in public while wearing Borat’s famous “mankinis.” Cops in the town of Astana arrested the tourists, from Czech, and charged them with “minor hooliganism.”

Photos of the tourists show them posing in front of a snow-covered sign reading “I [heart] Astana.” And let me just add that the weather that day was 28 degrees. Now let’s check out these tourists and their mankinis.

And just for this each of these tourist were fined $67, but I think it was totally worth it. And let’s not forget that Borat was originally banned from Kazakhstan, but then it was unbanned and allowed as the government revealed it actually boosted tourism.
