This Inmate’s Mugshot Features A Lot Of Toilet Paper

We’ve talked about a lot of strange mugshots here on Mandatory, and just when we think it can’t get any weirder of course it suddenly gets weirder. So now we go from the half-beard mugshot to the mugshot of an inmate featuring toilet paper. Let us explain.

A New Hampshire woman stopped police and told them she had been robbed, restrained and because of that her four young children were left unsupervised. The woman also said the assailants had just driven away so police were quickly on it. And of course they were able to track down the assailants: 35-year-old Melissa Natal, 25-year-old Juan Flores and 24-year-old Bryan Martinez. But that’s not what makes this so bizarre, it’s the mugshot that Natal took once she got to the holding cell. Apparently it was a tad too cold, so this is what Natal did.

Yep. She covered herself in toilet paper because it seems that helped her keep warm. It also looks like Natal used up all the toilet paper because this was Flores’s mugshot.

“Sometimes it gets real cold in there, but it wasn’t very cold last night,” said Sgt. Dan Poirier.

Well, even if she was freezing cold, Natal was still charged with two counts of conspiracy to commit robbery, criminal restraint and conspiracy to commit criminal restraint. Oh, she was also charged with simple assault and four counts of child endangerment, all misdemeanors.

Flores on the other hand was charged with six counts of criminal threatening, as well as conspiracy to commit robbery, burglary and criminal restraint. While Martinez was charged with second-degree assault, criminal restraint and criminal threatening, as well as conspiracy to commit both robbery and burglary.

No word yet if these folks ever got a blanket.
