Guy Drives Smart Car Into Convenience Store Because Parking For Snacks Is Overrated

How many times have you pulled up to a 7-Eleven (or 6-Twelve) and wished they had a drive-thru? Countless times, right? It’s only reasonable that one would want to enjoy a Slurpee, bag of chips and possibly expired hot dog while not having to leave the comfort of their car.

Alas, drive-thrus for convenience stores are very rare and are basically the unicorns of paved roads. Chances are you’re not going to find one, so you might as well do as this guy did and drive your car right into the store.

Guy Drives Car Into Convenience Store, Buys His Food

A driver out in Eastern China found himself wanting a snack, but the store he visited wasn’t quite convenient enough for him. So instead of parking his Smart car to get the food he craved, he drove it right into the store like it’s a totally normal and reasonable thing to do.

The guy even honked his horn because it wasn’t obvious enough that a car was in the store, I guess?

As you can see in the video, the clerk was initially panicked because, HELLO, THERE’S A CAR IN THE BUILDING. But in a true moment of outstanding customer service, he got the bag of chips and yogurt the driver asked for and processed the transaction in cash. Now if that doesn’t deserve an “Employee of the Month” award, I don’t know what does.

The whole thing went down without anything being damaged or anyone getting hurt. Good thing he drove a Smart car because I don’t think he would have had the same luck if he drove a pick-up truck — or anything else on four wheels.
