Woman Gets Locked Inside A CVS After It Closes

This woman got locked inside a CVS store after she went to buy a birthday card ten minutes before the store was scheduled to close. So let’s just assume that this woman forgot her friend’s birthday and had to rush out to get a card.

Lillian Rimmel was in Orlando, Florida when she went ahead and headed to a CVS store in order to buy a birthday card. Rimmel admits she entered the store at 9:50pm, but when she went up to the register to pay for the card the alarms went off. And that is when she realized she had been locked inside.

“I started screaming, ‘Is anyone here? Can anyone help me?” Rimmel said.

This is the photo Rimmel took from inside the locked CVS.

Rimmel stood in front of the security cameras and dialed 911 because she was worried cops would think she was a burglar.

“I was shaking. I was scared, but I wasn’t scared for my life,” Rimmel said. “I was just so nervous that I did something wrong. I didn’t know how this could happen. I was dumbfounded.”

While waiting for cops, Rimmel was actually able to locate the manager of the CVS by calling another CVS. The manager arrived with the keys, as police waited for the manager as well, and Rimmel was finally let out. But guess what? The manager still asked if Rimmel wanted to buy the birthday card, and Rimmel did.

No, she didn’t get it for free, she still had to pay for it. Nice job, CVS.

Rimmel has no idea how this occurred, as there were no signs or announcements that the store was closing.

“I’m six feet tall. I can overlook all the partitions, I can look over every one of the aisles, so I don’t know how they didn’t see me,” Rimmel said. “No one said anything to me. No one did nothing. There was no indication it was closing at all. The music was still on and so were the lights.”

CVS is currently investigating the incident. Check out the video below for more on this bizarre situation.
