Top 10 Best Overwatch Play of the Game Clips

Since the game’s launch players have been excitedly sharing their very best Overwatch Play of the Game clips, celebrating their greatest moments in Blizzard’s wonderful new FPS.

With everyone striving to be featured in the post-game highlight, there have been plenty of special plays that have been shared across the web. However, in our opinion none have been as excellent as the ones below.

Here are the top 10 best Overwatch Play of the Game clips. Special thanks to the Overwatch subreddit (which is alarmingly popular these days) for the clips.

10. No turret Symmetra

The few times you’ll see Symmetra achieving a Play of the Game are typically a result of those annoying turrets the Support Hero places around the map. Not this time.

9. Spring cleaning with Reinhardt

Here’s a Play of the Game in which Reinhardt takes out the trash, with the trash in this instance being almost the entire enemy team.

8. Torbjorn says “Screw your tires!”

There’s nothing quite as terrifying as hearing the revving of a Junkrat Rip-Tire. Unless you’re Merawder, in which case you simply blow them all up with your weak-ass Torbjorn shotgun.

7. Thanks, Bastion

Genji’s Deflect ability can cause some serious problems for players who refuse to stop shooting, but none have more trouble with this move than Bastion. Given his higher rate of fire than the game’s other Heroes, Bastion can be destroyed by a Genji before he’s even had time to reconsider his actions. This Play of the Game highlights this perfectly, with Bastion setting up camp in a corner before unwittingly being the cause of all of his teammates’ deaths.

6. Unstoppable Genji

There’s nothing quite like the feeling when you successfully manage to quietly slink past the enemy team and get a few kills as Genj, though this particular Play of the Game ups the ante considerably.

5. No Winston No Cry

When finding yourself trapped in a room with five Winstons, your two options would usually be “run” or “run even faster,” but Roadhog player Kobra had other ideas.

4. Who needs an Ultimate?

Achieving a Play of the Game without using an ultimate is a special thing, and this McRee PotG sans special ability is pretty hard to beat. Masterfully dodging Roadhog’s hook, taking down every enemy in his path before Flashbanging a Soldier 76 for the final, glorious kill, Overwatch player Fissa pulled off something to be proud of here.

3. Pass the bomb

We highly doubt WiggityWiz intended for this to happen, but regardless of their intentions it certainly makes for a perfect Overwatch Play of the Game.

2. Duck Hunt

Not only does Compegen shut down two Junkrat ultimates with their incredible Widowmaker skills, but they also make the rest of the enemy team look like chumps, too.

1. A Lucio shut down

Given his role as a Support Hero, Lucio rarely features on Play of the Game clips. However, when he does, it’s always as a result of him pulling off something special. There is no greater example of this than the above clip, which shows player MrBeat literally blowing away the opposition with his Sonic Amplifier.
