James Corden has hit upon a great way to make his musical guests talk and sing with him on The Late Late Show: Carpool Karaoke. And this past week, Corden and Adele teamed up for the latest Carpool Karaoke, which may be the best one yet!
Adele seemed genuinely surprised that Corden could sing…but since she’s from London, she should probably have seen Corden performing before this. However, it’s hard to argue with the easy chemistry that Corden and Adele seemed to almost instantly have as they alternately sang and chatted their way through the segment.
Previously, Adele has cited the Spice Girls as a major influence on her, but we’re pretty sure that Corben and Adele’s rendition of “Wannabe” is the superior version of that song. Adele also ends up wrapping part of Nicki Minaj’s “Monster” and she tells Corben that she performed the drums on “Hello,” her recent hit single.
