Boston College Scores Off ‘Flying V’ From ‘Mighty Ducks’

It’s been 23 years since ‘The Mighty Ducks’ skated their way to victory. It’s nice to know kids are still taking away from the movie’s playbook.

In case you need a reminder, here’s the play that inspired a real-life NHL team. 

And here’s the play Boston College pulled off against UMass Tuesday, a 3-man version of the ‘Flying V.’

BC won 7-0 and likely the hearts of 30-somethings around the country who feel the nostalgia brought on from the goal. Nice work fellas, whether it was intentional or not.
