GTA Online Screenshots Highlight the Game’s New First-Person Mode

Rockstar has released a batch of new screenshots that show how the upcoming PS4/Xbox One/PC editions of Grand Theft Auto V will handle the recently announced first-person mode in GTA Online, the game’s multiplayer component.

The screenshots also show GTA Online running in traditional third-person mode in the upcoming current-gen remastered versions of last year’s hugely popular open-world game, though it’s definitely the newly revealed first-person viewpoint that we’re most interested in.

According to Rockstar, players will have the ability to choose between third- and first-person mode when they create a new game, which along with turning the game into an FPS for its action segments will also see the camera entering first-person mode when driving cars, motorcycles and aircraft.

Grand Theft Auto V is set to release worldwide on the PS4 and Xbox One on November 18th, 2014, with it launching on 27th January, 2015 on the PC.
