Bonnaroo Adds Kalliope Stage To 2014 Fest

Bonnaroo 2014 organizers have announced a new stage on The Farm this year, one that serves a dual purpose. Called the Kalliope Stage, the new ‘Roo haven will host World Cup games and the NHL Finals during the day, but once the sun sets, 70,000 watts will blast dance-eager attendees through “an unforgettable light show filled with cryogenics, lasers and serial beams.”

Accompanying the Kalliope stage will be “Big Red,” an art-deco VW Bug with a cozy bed in the back, cruising around site through all hours of the day and night, adding a unique mobile component to the Bonnaroo experience. 

All of this, of course, is in addition to the newly announced Bonnaroo Cinema schedule, the Bonnaroo late-night after-shows and the Silent Disco lineup.
