Watch Cloud Control’s Milk Crate Cover of Blink 182’s ‘Dammit’

Australian indie rockers Cloud Control hit up Triple J radio on Friday with a unique styled cover of the Blink 182 punk pop single ‘Dammit’.

Using a mild crate and a guitar case for percussions, Cloud Control brought their version of the 1997 single, which actually reached No. 34 on the Aussie ARIA charts 17 years ago, to Triple J studios for a special cover of the Mark Hoppus written track.

Cloud Control’s late-2013 sophomore release Dream Cave (peaked at No.9 Down Under) was infused with a distinctly more psychedelic sound, and was actually recorded in a cave. The band recently wrapped up a 35-date Australian acoustic tour and are now preparing for a set of headline gigs across the US and Canada in May and June.
