Classic Fallout Games Will Return to Steam Soon

Last month Fallout, Fallout 2 and Fallout Tactics were removed from Steam following changes to licensing agreements, but Bethesda has confirmed that they are hard at work ensuring that the classic games are put back on sale as soon as possible.

Those who already own any of the three titles are still able to play them, though the games were taken down from the store meaning that they could not be played by anyone else. However, Bethesda are working on rectifying this issue, as confirmed in the below tweet:

There is still no word on whether there are any plans to return the classic Fallout games to GOG, too.

The future of the Fallout series was heavily discussed in 2013, with many anticipating a major reveal for Fallout 4 from Bethesda by the end of the year. While that was unfortunately not the case, fans learned that the game was at least in development, as leaked documents supposedly confirmed that the game was going to be set in Boston.
