Chvrches, Jagwar Ma And More Laneway Festival Sideshows

Chvrches and Jagwar Ma are the first of the Laneway Festival sideshow announcements hitting Australia in January and February.

Scottish synthpop trio Chvrches are touring with Laneway Festival after releasing their hugely successful debut album The Bones of What You Believe last month. The creators of hit singles ‘The Mother We Share’, ‘Recover’, and ‘Gun’ will play at Melbourne’s The Forum on Wednesday, January 29 and Sydney’s Metro Theatre on Tuesday, February 4.

Internationally acclaimed Aussie duo Jagwar Ma are touted as one of our nation’s best live acts going around after experiencing a massive 12 months on the back of their Howlin debut. You can catch them at The Hi-Fi in Melbourne on Thursday, January 16 and the Metro Theatre in Sydney on January 17.

The Laneway Festival visits Singapore and Auckland in late-January before making stops in Brisbane (Jan 31), Melbourne (February 1), Sydney (February 2), Adelaide (February 7) and Perth (February 8).

“Overwhelming demand” will see the Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age Australian tour add additional shows also in Sydney and Melbourne.

The joint tour will visit Sydney’s Entertainment Centre on Thursday, March 6 and will now play an additional show at the same venue the following night before their date at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena has doubled with shows on March 14 and 15.
