Belle And Sebastian Australian Headline Tour Dates

Scottish indie pop outfit Belle and Sebastian will be returning to Australia after a four year absence, playing a string of headline shows across the country in January and February 2015.

Already announced on the lineup for the New Zealand leg of St Jerome’s Laneway Festival, Belle and Sebastian will head to Australia after their festival slot, playing The Tivoli in Brisbane on Wednesday 28th January before moving on to Sydney, then Melbourne, and finally Perth.

Led by the magnetic Stuart Murdoch, Belle and Sebastian are sure to showcase tracks from their extensive back catalogue, all the way from 1996′s “Tigermilk” to their recently announced ninth studio album, “Girls In Peacetime Want To Dance”, which will be released in Australia on Friday, 16th January.

For fans eager to get into the Belle and Sebastian spirit, the band have also just announced the re-issue of their entire vinyl catalogue, including brand-new artwork for 2003’s Mercury Music Prize nominated album “Dear Catastrophe Waitress”. You can find details of all this at the band’s official website.

Melbourne indie outfit Twerps will provide the support for each of the Australian shows. See all tour dates, venue and ticket details below.
