Odds are you missed the women’s doubles final at the All England Open badminton tournament in Birmingham over the weekend because you were busy doing anything else, like watching Cincinnati blow a 22-point second half lead against Nevada in the NCAA Tournament or starring at the sun. Literally, anything else.

But that means you missed what could go down as the most epic badminton point in the history of the sport. Watch as Denmark’s Christinna Pedersen and Kamilla Rytter Juhl battle Japan’s Yuki Fukushima and Sayaka Hirota to the tune of 102 hits during a single rally.

Pedersen and Juhl would not only go on to win the point that lasted for more than 90 seconds but also the match, claiming their first ever prestigious All England championship in the process.

The Danish pair have also won a silver medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics, and they are also partners off the badminton court. The duo received tons of support when they came out last year in their book Det Unikke Makkerskab (the unique partnership), even “from countries where same-sex relationships are a punishable offense.”
