Two Dudes Pretended To Be Strongmen And Actually Made It On A Few Local Morning Shows

Meet Chop and Steele.

The inspirational strongman duo who appeared on an episode of America’s Got Talent are touring the country to demonstrate their power, and they’re hitting up local news morning shows to get the word out.

The only problem? You guessed it: Chop and Steele really aren’t strongmen, they were never on America’s Got Talent and there is no “Give Thanks for Strength” tour sweeping the nation where you can check out their lifting skills. Chop (Joe Pickett) and Steele (Nick Prueher) are actually the hosts of the The Found Footage Festival, and they have also pranked morning shows in the past through different characters.

This time around, Chop and Steele made appearances on morning shows in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, Bismarck, North Dakota and Allentown, Pennsylvania before “canceling their other appearances due to being stressed out.” Here’s a compilation of them demonstrating what it takes to be a strongman these days, which surprisingly includes lifting a cinder block together, crushing baskets with their feet, lifting chocolate milk, karate-chopping sticks and of course, throwing those sticks against each other’s backs.

Enjoy!
