Pokémon GO Is Now Live In Australia And The Internet Is Going Nuts

Rejoice ’90s kids, because now you can finally live out your childhood dreams to be a Pokémon trainer and to go out and catch Pokémon in the wild.

Today Pokémon GO has gone live in Australia ahead of its world launch. Users must simply download the app from Apple Store or Google Play, which uses the phone’s GPS and camera to supplant Pokémon in the real world. 

Simply explore, spot a Pokémon and throw a virtual pokéball to catch it, while a wrist accessory will be available allowing users to play without having to unlock their phones. The app also allows users to battle other trainers, gain gym badges and hit up the Pokémon center.
