Snow recently spoke about the split during Monday’s episode of Armchair Expert. She said she never expected to feel thankful for a divorce. “I am so grateful that I went through that because the person that I am and the partner I’m with now, it’s just so different,” she explained. “I can’t believe I’m grateful for my divorce.”
Snow also shared how uncertain life felt after the marriage ended. She recalled being 37 and staying in an Airbnb with her dog. “I was 37 and I was living in an Airbnb, just staring at my dog being like, I don’t know what’s going to happen,” she said. “It’s just you and me, kiddo. We’re going to try to rebuild this.”
The actress married Stanaland in March 2020, and they announced their separation in September 2022. In January 2023, Snow filed for divorce, and the ex-spouses settled in July of the same year. During a March 2024 episode of Call Her Daddy, Snow discussed the breakup and said Stanaland’s role on Selling the OC “burnt” down their relationship. She also called the show “a neon f—ing sign” of a red flag.
Stanaland denied being unfaithful in an Instagram statement after Snow’s podcast appearance, writing, “Accusations of infidelity couldn’t be further from the truth.” He said he would make no further comments, while Snow now looks back on the divorce with gratitude. Snow now sees the divorce as a turning point that helped her build a happier life and find a healthier relationship with Hunter Moreno.
