Harriet Phillips opens up about meeting Kate Middleton in new interview
Harriet Phillips, who married Princess Anne‘s only son, Peter Phillips, in an interview shared her experience of meeting Kate Middleton in an interview. Phillips spoke to Hello Magazine; she said, “I’ve had an incredible experience being welcomed in. We happened to be on holiday in the same place. It was great because the children were all jumping into the water at the same time. It was very casual, but there is a clear level of respect there.”
Harriet Phillips got married to Peter Phillips in June 2026 at All Saints Church in Kemble, after announcing their engagement in August 2025. She also shared her bond with Middleton, saying, “I can look to Catherine for advice and guidance. She’s very open-hearted, and I would always feel comfortable asking her if I needed advice about something.”
Peter and Harriet live in a private cottage on the Gatcombe Park Estate in Gloucestershire. The Estate is owned by Peter’s mother, Princess Anne. The pair started dating in 2024 and made their debut at the Badminton Horse Trials in May 2024. She was also seen with King Charles and Queen Camilla.
During their wedding, King and Queen, Princess Anne, the Prince and Princess of Wales, their children, and Harriet’s new sister-in-law Zara Tindall and husband Mike were present.
The couple’s children also made their appearance during the wedding. Harriet is mom to 14-year-old Georgina. Peter Phillips shares two daughters, Savannah, 15, and 14-year-old Isla, with his former wife, Autumn Kelly.
