JD Vance found himself fielding an unusual question about Donald Trump during a recent Fox News town hall in Fort Worth, Texas.
Vice President Vance responded with a joke after host Jesse Watters brought up the president’s repeated comments about Republican Sen. Jon Husted’s physique.

According to The Mirror, Watters asked Vance about Trump’s repeated compliments about Husted. Vance laughed and replied, “Well, first of all, I’m jealous. The president has never said that about me. [Time to] get back in the gym maybe and draw that particular piece of praise.”
Vance had previously joked about Trump’s remarks during a rally supporting Husted at the Sharonville Convention Center Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio. Addressing the crowd, he said, “Now, this is a tough act to follow, ladies and gentlemen, because what could I possibly say about Jon Husted that Donald J. Trump has not already said? Don’t worry, I’m not talking about Jon Huston’s a–. I’m not talking about it.”
Trump’s comments about Husted began during a midterm rally in Youngstown, Ohio, on Tuesday, October 12. After learning that the senator had played college football, Trump said he examined Husted’s physique.
“I don’t do this with men very often. I started examining [Husted’s] body because I didn’t know he was a great athlete, and I looked, and I watched up and down,” Trump told the audience. “I looked at his a–, and I looked at the whole, and then I looked at his hands. Look at his hands. He’s got these like claws.”
Trump also complimented Husted’s jaw and continued commenting on his appearance during subsequent rallies and interviews.
Meanwhile, Husted is running for re-election against Democratic Sen. Sherrod Brown. Trump has also made similar comments about rapper Nicki Minaj, who joined him at a rally in Port Huron, Michigan, on Sunday, October 25.
“By the way, I looked at one hell of a beautiful a– before – Nicki Minaj. That’s hard to miss. That – stand up! That’s hard to miss,” Trump said while addressing the crowd.
