Small Town Trouble: Texas trailer teases wild marriage drama
Bravo released the first look at the series on Oct. 22, ahead of its Nov. 18 premiere at 9 p.m. ET. The cast includes Aaryn Williams, Annari Uys, Gabby Hernandez Huffman, Alli McAnelly and Hailey Head. Alli calls Boerne a “Hallmark town,” while Hailey describes its “cute, sweet, quaint vibes.” Aaryn also says the town is “conservative,” but Alli warns viewers not to trust their first impressions.
“You would be surprised how many women are married with traditional families, but also sleeping with women,” Aaryn says in the trailer. She adds, “It’s a lot.” Aaryn, who is openly bisexual, then raises a toast with Annari and Gabby to “having vaginas and liking vagina.” The preview also features a woman stating, “Jesus is not mad at me for sci–oring.”
Marriage troubles bring even more tension to the group. Hailey says people talk about her 11-year relationship with Josh Marsalis because they still have not married. Josh responds, “If it ain’t broke, you don’t fix it.” However, Hailey later cries and says, “He’s completely leaving me. This is so not fair for me.”
Gabby also appears to question her relationship with Jordan Huffman. When Alli asks if she fears that she and Jordan may no longer belong together, Gabby replies, “I really hope that’s not the case.” Jordan admits he is “trying to figure” out whether he feels comfortable with their current marital arrangement. Josh also questions whether Jordan accepts Gabby having “sex with another woman.”
The women’s friendships face problems, too. Aaryn says she thought she had a real friendship, but Alli fires back about her past falling-outs. Annari and Aaryn also appear headed for a confrontation after Annari mentions Aaryn’s husband, Nick Williams. Aaryn warns her, “Don’t talk about my husband anymore.” With secret relationships and friendships under pressure, the trailer sets up a tense first season.
