Quaid said, “Her show’s title should be changed to I LOVE ROSEANNE. She’s luuuuscious.”
Barr recently promoted her new sitcom, Meemaw: A Modern Day Fable. During the interview, she praised Quaid and made a flirty confession about him.
She said, “I’m in love with him and I wish he would leave his wife and marry me. I enjoyed making out with him so much that I wrote extra scenes where we would make out.”
The two actors recently worked together for the first time in their careers on the independent comedy series Meemaw: A Modern Day Fable, which wrapped filming in Austin, Texas. The Kingpin star plays Barr’s husband, a local sheriff, in the series. Before this project, the longtime actors had never worked together on a film or television show.
Meemaw: A Modern Day Fable is an upcoming American independent sitcom that Barr has reportedly funded and produced herself. According to reports, the actress also reached out to billionaire Elon Musk regarding the series.
While the exchange between the co-stars was lighthearted, both actors have established personal lives. Quaid has been married to his wife, Evi Quaid, since October 5, 1989. Meanwhile, Barr has been in a relationship with her partner, Johnny Argent, since 2003. The couple have lived together for more than two decades.
For now, their playful back-and-forth appears to be part of the chemistry surrounding their new sitcom.
