Lisa Vanderpump’s Family Leaves Her in Tears Amid Major Life Change

Lisa Vanderpump became emotional after her daughter, Pandora Vanderpump Sabo, reacted to seeing her mother’s name displayed on a Las Vegas hotel. The moment appeared in a preview for Vanderpump Rules: Lisa Las Vegas, which follows Vanderpump as she partners with Caesars Entertainment to open the Vanderpump Hotel.

Pandora called her mother after driving past the hotel and spotting Vanderpump’s name on the building. Her excitement immediately turned the milestone into a deeply personal moment. “I just drove by the sign. Your name is on the sign of a f***ing building,” Pandora said during the FaceTime call. She went on to call the achievement “iconic” and told her mother that she could not imagine anything cooler.

Vanderpump quickly became emotional as Pandora praised her success. Rather than focusing only on the business achievement, she began thinking about the family members she wished could have witnessed it. “I wish my family were [here],” she said.

As per Us Pandora responded by reminding her that other relatives would still get to see what she had built. “Your family will see it. Your nephews will see it,” she said. “My kids will see it. It’s the coolest thing I’ve ever seen. I’m so proud of you.”

The emotional exchange also highlighted Pandora’s importance in her mother’s business life. Although she has generally stayed away from television, Vanderpump described her daughter as an essential part of her work.

“Pandora is my right-hand woman in every aspect of my business,” she said in a confessional. Vanderpump also pushed back against the idea that Pandora’s role came simply from their family connection, adding, “This is not nepotism. I could not do it without her, and I couldn’t do it better without her.”

That family connection also ties into the more emotional side of Lisa Las Vegas. Vanderpump previously said the limited Bravo series would show her grieving several relatives, including her parents and brother. Seeing her name on the hotel only deepened those feelings. “This stage where my name was on the side of a hotel, it was just like, ‘I wish they’d been there,’ you know?” she explained.

The new series therefore follows more than Vanderpump’s latest business venture. It also shows how the milestone brings up memories of the family members she lost and the daughter who continues to support her through major moments.
