Lisa Vanderpump Challenges Andy Cohen’s Story About Bravo Snub

Lisa Vanderpump is pushing back on Andy Cohen’s account of why she did not appear on The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. While Cohen said Vanderpump turned down an invitation to make an appearance, the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star says she never actually told him “no.”

Lisa Vanderpump disputes Andy Cohen’s account of her RHUGT absence

According to Reality Blurb, Cohen previously discussed Vanderpump’s absence from RHUGT: Roaring 20th during a September 5 interview with Entertainment Tonight. He said Bravo wanted her to return “just to make an appearance,” but claimed she said “No.” He then speculated that she may have declined because she “can’t stand” Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley. Meanwhile, he was emphasizing that this was only his guess.

Vanderpump has now offered a different version of events. During an interview with NBC’s Hollywood Reeltime, she addressed Cohen’s comments and said she never personally rejected the invitation.

“No, I never would [appear], and I was just told that Andy said that was the, when I said, ‘No,’ that stung the most. I didn’t even say ‘No.’ They must’ve said, ‘No,’ for me because I was opening the hotel or I was filming in Austria, Vanderpump Villa,” she explained.

Vanderpump’s comments suggest that she was not interested in appearing on the show. Moreover, she did not have the direct conversation with Cohen that his comments appeared to imply. She also did not confirm his speculation about Richards or Kemsley influencing the decision.

The situation comes after Vanderpump stepped away from RHOBH following Season 9. She has remained involved with Bravo through Vanderpump Rules and Vanderpump Villa while continuing to expand her business ventures.

Vanderpump has also made clear that she does not plan to return to RHOBH. In a separate interview, she said a comeback is “never gonna happen,” explaining that she is busy with her businesses and charity work.

For now, the disagreement appears to center on how the RHUGT invitation was declined. Cohen said Vanderpump told him “No,” while Vanderpump maintains that she never personally gave him that answer.
