During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen on Thursday, October 15, Andy Cohen told Tamra, 59, that he had never seen her “so gutturally break down” as she did in the latest RHOC episode. Tamra cried during a cast trip to Tokyo while discussing her estrangement from Sidney, 28. Shannon offered comfort despite the ups and downs in their friendship over the past 12 years. Tamra said the support touched her deeply.

“It kind of meant everything to me,” Tamra told Andy while wiping away tears. She told him that Shannon never made her feel like a bad person for her family problems. “You and I have gone through so much together, but you’ve never villainized me for the situation I’m going through,” Tamra recalled telling Shannon in a scene that did not air. She said that moment showed how much Shannon’s support mattered.

The episode also showed Tamra discussing her hurt over Vicki Gunvalson bringing up her estrangement from Sidney on her podcast. The situation led Tamra to open up about her family struggles with her castmates. On the podcast, she explained that people often judge her when they become angry with her. She said their response often centers on her relationship with her daughter.

“Whenever somebody gets mad at me, their go-to is, ‘Your daughter hates you,’” Tamra said. She stressed that the situation involves more than that simple claim. “It’s so much deeper than that,” she added, hoping the public discussion would finally end. Tamra described the family situation as “sad” and “horrible,” making clear how painful the estrangement remains for her.
