Carole Radziwill jokes about her 17 parking violations and $8,000 in tickets
Carole Radziwill jokes about her 17 parking violations on her Instagram. She shared a picture of the New York Post cover featuring a report of her parking violations. Radziwill wrote in the caption, “I’m on the cover of my hometown paper?! This is like a fever dream. I ♥️ the traffic cops. I ♥️my city and I ♥️ the New York Post. (Btw, I only overslept 17 times in 6 years? I deserve a ?️ to the city) Beep, beep, bitches. P.S. I’ve paid every dollar of those tickets. I stand with the Dept. of Sanitation.”
The RHONY star responded playfully to a New York Post report about tickets received for not moving her red Jeep. The report noted that Radziwill’s SUV was parked near her Soho apartment. The car had an expired FDNY union placard placed on the dashboard. They also added that Radziwill had a total of 83 traffic violations in the last four years, most of them related to parking. The SUV also had two Con Ed traffic cones and paid nearly $8,000 in tickets. (via Page Six)
During Real Housewives of New York Season 16, Radziwill discussed her use of traffic cones. She said, “The cone is a cop family hack. If I’m parked illegally or slightly too close to a hydrant, they will keep on walking.”
Soon after her post, users were quick to react. Bravo executive Andy Cohen teased her, commenting, “menace to the city.”
One user said, “That’s my girl @caroleradziwill ?️.” Another commented, “This is so deeply iconic, and I need a signed copy.” One wrote, “Dead – must frame this immediately!”
Radziwill is currently appearing on The Real Housewives of New York City, airing on Bravo on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
