RHOC Star Shannon Beador Exposes Wild Monthly Spending Amid Crushing Debt

Shannon Beador got brutally honest about her finances, and the numbers were enough to make anyone check their bank account. The Real Housewives of Orange County star discovered her monthly spending had climbed past $37,000 while trying to get her finances back under control.

Her biggest expenses included supporting her three adult daughters and keeping the Corona Del Mar home she loved. With debt also hanging over her head, Shannon turned to Vicki Gunvalson for a reality check.

Shannon Beador broke down her insane budget, including $20,000 monthly for her adult children

During the Season 20 episode, Shannon admitted she spent $20,000 every month on her daughters. “I give money to my kids,” she said in a confessional, according to Bravo’s The Daily Dish.

Her housing bill alone was eye-watering. Shannon paid $10,500 each month for her Corona Del Mar rental, where she had lived since 2023. She also spent $3,000 on Uber rides, more than $900 on healthcare, and $3,500 on utilities and renters insurance.

Shannon wasn’t exactly thrilled with what she saw on paper. “I just want to pay the money that I owe for taxes and everything. Like, I want to be squared up,” she explained. Vicki encouraged her to watch her spending more closely. “I’d manage it tightly,” she advised. “That’s why I’ve been able to have three houses.”

Shannon knew some changes were necessary. “I have to be better at it,” she admitted. That didn’t mean she was ready to surrender her rental. Vicki told her the $10,500 rent was “not in [her] budget,” but Shannon remained attached to the property. “It’s just, I love it here. It makes me happy,” she said.

Vicki also worried about what happens if Shannon loses her RHOC paycheck or support from ex-husband David Beador. “Shannon is not frugal. And if this job ends, and David’s child support ends, then what?” she asked.

The debt had another source, too. Shannon revealed that she invested her savings into Real for Real before shutting the company down. “I have created some debt…I put all my savings into Real for Real. Unfortunately, I had to shut my company down,” she said.

She previously said she put $1.4 million from her divorce settlement and personal funds into the venture. Looking back, Shannon admitted she could have bought a house or invested elsewhere.

For now, the RHOC star seemed ready to rethink the lifestyle that helped create her financial squeeze.
