Jenna Bush Hager revealed her celebrity crush while discussing celebrity hall passes on the Today Show. The 44-year-old co-host of Today with Jenna & Sheinelle was quick to name singer-songwriter Brandi Carlile as one of her top picks.

On the August 25 episode, Jenna got candid about her celebrity “hall passes” during a playful discussion with Sheinelle Jones. The anchor had a few surprising names in mind. She revealed that Pride and Prejudice actor Colin Firth was her pick “from back in the day.” She then added singer-songwriter Brandi Carlile to the list. “Actually, she knows that I have said this, and so does her wife [Catherine Shepherd],” Jenna confessed.
Jones admitted that Carlile’s swagger had a certain “vibe” to it. Jenna then made sure to clear up any possible misunderstanding. The Today co-host, who has been married to Henry Hager for nearly two decades and is a mother of three, said, “And also, I’ve never kissed a woman.” She added, “I’m just saying that; I feel like I need to say that. I have a husband, too, so there are a lot of barriers, but it’s the vibe.”
Meanwhile, Jones confessed to having a major crush on Tyson Beckford. Her longtime crush even prompted Today producers to bring him on as her guest co-host. She recalled the memorable experience, saying, “The problem with this job is when you’re on a show and say ‘I used to have a crush on so and so,’ they say, ‘Would you like to co-host with them?'”
Despite her crush, Jones said she managed not to get “all blushy blushy.” “I have a gear, and I turned off that gear. And then we were cool,” she said. Jones was married to Uche Ojeh for nearly 18 years before he died in May 2025 following a battle with brain cancer. The couple, who wed in 2007, shared three children: Kayin, Clara, and Uche.
