Larsa Pippen has shared some concerning health news with her fans. The Real Housewives of Miami star revealed that she was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm in an emotional update shared on her Instagram Story on November 5.
Larsa Pippen reveals brain aneurysm diagnosis after Matt Damon interview

Larsa shared the update while reposting an OK! Magazine headline about Matt Damon revealing that his wife, Luciana Barroso, suffered a brain aneurysm. Reacting to the news, Larsa wrote, “I get diagnosed with a brain aneurysm yesterday, and I wake up to this. I’m sick.”
The report referred to Matt’s revelation about his wife’s 2024 health scare. She suffered a brain aneurysm just weeks before the Academy Awards that year. His film, Oppenheimer, was nominated for Best Picture and Best Director at the ceremony. The actor described his wife, with who he has been married since 2005, as “pretty f**king heroic” for standing by him during the important event.
Meanwhile, Larsa, who was married to NBA legend Scottie Pippen for more than two decades, has yet to share further details about her recent diagnosis. However, this isn’t the first time the reality star has opened up about her health. Last year, she revealed that an allergic reaction was behind her changing appearance. She made the revelation in a video message on her Instagram Stories in August 2025, per Page Six.
The 52-year-old said, “I just shot my [‘RHOM’] reunion a couple of days ago, so you’ll see what I look like at my reunion,” adding, “I did have PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma).” She continued, “I did have an allergic reaction to the PRP, which I didn’t even know you can have, so my face is a bit swollen, but it doesn’t look like that, so keep on hating guys.”
Penn Medicine describes PRP injections as “a treatment that uses a patient’s platelets to promote tissue function and restoration.”
