Savannah Chrisley’s Husband Is Still a Conman, Brother Claims

Savannah Chrisley’s marriage to Jason Galanis is under the radar as they prepare to welcome their first child together. Jason’s estranged brother Derek has expressed doubt over Jason’s motives after his prison stay. He believes that his brother has remained a conman to date.

Derek Galanis doubts his brother Jason has changed since prison

According to TMZ, Derek spoke to Charlie Neff on Thursday, October 29, where he deliberated on his brother’s marriage to Savannah Chrisley. Although the couple appears happy together, Derek suspects that his brother may have ulterior motives.

Derek pointed out Jason’s guilty plea to seven charges connected with two separate fraud schemes. He also accused his father, John Galanis, and brother of having spent their lives conning people. Derek is also the author of “Greed and Fear: The Galanis Crime Family,” aimed at exposing dark secrets about his family.

He has also said that there is no reason to believe that his brother has changed his ways. The interview came at a time when Chrisley announced her engagement to Jason and is preparing to welcome their child. When questioned about Jason becoming a father, he replied that he hoped that the child would inspire Jason to correct his ways.

Derek has recently spoken to Page Six on the matter. He claimed that the marriage was Jason’s “biggest con yet”. He has also predicted that a life with Jason means that Savannah is “in for a rocky ride.”

Jason, who was previously dubbed “Porn’s New King,” received a 189-month prison sentence in September 2020. His criminal history includes involvement in a $60 million fraud scheme. This involved fraudulent municipal bonds sold to the Wakpamni Lake Community of the Oglala Sioux Tribe. Jason has also admitted to having business ties with Hunter Biden, son of former POTUS Joe Biden.

Consequently, he served time at a federal prison camp in Pensacola, Florida, alongside Savannah’s father, Todd Chrisley. Both men were subsequently pardoned by Donald Trump.
