Before becoming a reality TV star, Todd Chrisley reportedly had a brief stint as an escort. The former Chrisley Knows Best star recalled an intimate encounter with an older woman in the back of a limousine when he was 18.
Todd Chrisley shares his early escort experience
Chrisley opened up about the experience during an October 29 appearance on the Dumb Blonde podcast. He told podcast host Bunnie Xo, “I was an escort when I was 18 in Los Angeles. I left South Carolina when I was 17. It’s in my book that’s coming out.” He further stated, “It didn’t start out like that; I was being an escort.”
Chrisley recalled meeting a woman while working as a waiter at the original Cheesecake Factory in Marina del Rey. He explained that growing up in a small town in South Carolina, he had never seen $800 handed to him all at once. He remembered serving a table of six or seven attractive women that night and receiving an $800 tip. He noted that the incident took place in 1986.
After leaving the restaurant that evening, Chrisley spotted a limousine waiting outside. A man leaning against the vehicle caught his attention, making the scene look like something straight out of Dynasty. The man approached him, exchanged greetings, and explained that a woman inside wanted to speak with him because he had served her table that evening. Chrisley then approached the limousine, where the woman rolled down the window and complimented his service.
While sharing the story alongside his wife, Julie, Chrisley said the woman offered him a ride home, but things took an unexpected turn. He recalled having a brief intimate encounter with the 38-year-old woman. He later felt disappointed when he discovered that she was married.
Chrisley is also working on a memoir about his life and personal experiences. The reality star and his wife previously faced bank and tax fraud convictions and served more than two years in prison. Donald Trump granted both of them full pardons on May 27, 2025, and they were subsequently released.
