Why You Can See Everything Isn’t Playing in International Theaters

Curious to know why You Can See Everything isn’t playing in theaters worldwide? Directed by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim, the meta-documentary centers on Silicon Valley founder Elizabeth Holmes. She summons a film crew to document her everyday life, over a month before her prison sentence begins. As the movie recently came out in the US and Canada, many anticipate its arrival in their respective countries.

When is You Can See Everything releasing in overseas markets?

You Can See Everything initially debuted at the 53rd Telluride Film Festival during a private screening where attendees were not allowed to use their phones or record. Following this, it was sent to the 2026 New York Film Festival in September 2026 ahead of its release in the US market. On October 16, it was eventually released in the US and Canada, with a schedule now out for its arrival in some other countries as well.

The documentary will be released in Australia and the UK on November 12 and November 20, respectively. In Ireland, it will premiere on the same date as in the UK. Most European countries, including the Netherlands and Sweden, will see its release on different dates throughout November. Germany’s release has been pushed to December, while Spain will not see its arrival until next year.

Typically, a movie is distributed in international markets when the production company, in this case A24, partners with another company in a particular market to sell its distribution rights. Once the local company secures the rights, it becomes easier to promote and release the film.

Although the documentary hasn’t been released in theaters worldwide, it has been making waves following its recent US release, where it performed exceptionally well at the box office. It was initially projected to earn $7–8 million over the weekend. However, it grossed $5.5 million on its first day before going on to earn $15.6 million.
