Amanda Batula Reportedly Not Returning to ‘In the City’ Full-Time

Amanda Batula is reportedly not filming In the City Season 2 and is not expected to return as a full-time cast member, despite Bravo renewing the Summer House spinoff. Production has already started in New York City, with Kyle Cooke and Lindsay Hubbard expected to return. However, Amanda may still appear in scenes with her ex, Kyle, at a later stage.

Amanda Batula has reportedly not filmed In the City Season 2 despite Bravo’s renewal

Bravo renewed In the City, Next Gen NYC and Southern Hospitality ahead of its Fan Fest event in Charleston, South Carolina. The network has also ordered two new shows, Next Gen Atlanta and Charmed by a Southern Monster. Although official casting announcements are still pending, Amanda’s absence from filming suggests she may have a reduced role in the upcoming season.

Meanwhile, West Wilson also remains absent from Season 2 filming, as per Variety. He appeared in the first season of In the City before his relationship with Amanda became public. He was recently cast in Netflix’s competition series Million Dollar Secret.

The renewal comes as Bravo continues expanding its lineup of reality shows and scripted content. In the City follows a group of New Yorkers navigating major life changes, including marriage, separation, parenthood and personal reinvention.

Additionally, Next Gen NYC has started filming after securing a renewal. Similarly, Southern Hospitality is returning despite fans’ earlier concerns about the show’s future. The Charleston-based series follows a group of friends balancing careers and relationships in the hospitality industry.

Bravo has also ordered Next Gen Atlanta, which will follow emerging personalities as they navigate careers, friendships and family dynamics in a city shaped by hip-hop, sports and entertainment.

Meanwhile, Charmed by a Southern Monster, starring Southern Charm personality Craig Conover and Nicole Mattox, will mark Bravo’s first original scripted microdrama when it premieres on Peacock’s mobile app on November 9.
