RHOC’s Gina Kirschenheiter Has Had Enough of Her Costars’ Money Lectures

RHOC star Gina Kirschenheiter is pushing back against her co-stars’ concerns about her lifestyle, calling questions about her finances insulting. The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 20 star addressed the issue during a Bravo insider interview.

Gina Kirschenheiter says her castmates’ financial concerns are insulting

Gina Kirschenheiter questioned whether her co-stars had genuine reasons to be concerned about her choices. On The Real Housewives of Orange County After Show, she said, “There’s nothing about me or my personality that has ever, I think, showed anyone that they should be concerned about the decisions that I’ve made. I’ve walked through a lot of really gnarly, really bad things on this show by myself. And I’ve always made sound, good decisions to get myself to move forward, to get myself to level up, to get myself to elevate, to find personal growth in so many different areas.”

Kirschenheiter said that as she has achieved greater financial success, her RHOC co-stars Heather Dubrow, Tamra Judge, and Jennifer Pedranti have questioned her spending.

“The fact that they’re questioning how I spend my resources, or if I’m spending my money the correct way, is insulting. It really is. I am bothered by that,” she said.

During the aftershow, Kirschenheiter echoed those comments and called the concerns “ridiculous” in light of her past. She said that, over the years, her friends have questioned the size of her home. Moreover, she says this is because she chose to live within her means.

She also pushed back against the idea that her lifestyle changes mean she has changed as a person.

“The insinuation that I’m changing really is bothersome to me because I think that as women, we need to be able to allow ourselves to change and evolve. And let that be OK and not an indication that we’re no longer grounded as humans. I’m a very grounded person; I’m just doing it in better clothes. And I deserve that because I’ve worked really hard for it. It’s the truth.”

Kirschenheiter encouraged viewers to celebrate themselves while working toward their goals. She also said she has been working hard for her children and that she cannot apologize for doing well.
