Andy Cohen wants his boyfriend, Kevin Sobieski, to understand the people who play an important role in his life. However, getting Sobieski involved in the world of The Real Housewives has taken some effort. Recently, Cohen explained why he wanted his boyfriend to attend the Ultimate Girls Trip premiere party and why Sobieski ultimately could not make it.

Speaking on a recent episode of the Morally Corrupt podcast, Cohen explained why he wanted Sobieski at the Ultimate Girls Trip premiere party. He told him, “Put this date in your calendar,” because the event meant a lot to him.
Cohen said the Housewives had asked him for years when he would get a boyfriend. So, he wanted them to meet the man who now holds that place in his life.
Cohen explained his feelings directly to Sobieski, saying, “I care about these women.” He added, “I’ve been with them for so many years, and they’ve asked me for so many years, ‘When are you going to get a boyfriend?’” Cohen then made his reason clear by telling him, “You’re my guy, so I want them to meet you.”
For Cohen, the party was a chance to introduce his boyfriend to people who have been part of his life for years. However, Sobieski could not attend because of a work commitment.
Cohen stressed that the reason was genuine, recalling, “He had to go away on business. Like, legitimately.” He also added, “He really did,” emphasizing that Sobieski had a work obligation that prevented him from attending the gathering.
Despite missing the event, Sobieski has already met some familiar Bravo faces.
Cohen said Sobieski had attended “a couple” tapings of Watch What Happens Live. During those visits, he met Erika Jayne from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Mary Cosby from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
Cohen also said he introduced Sobieski to The Traitors, which led to reactions to Candiace Dillard Bassett and Lisa Rinna.
